Folding unexposed photographic paper generates a three dimensional, never visible object in the darkroom. Subsequently the folded photographic paper gets illuminated with filtered light. Through the resulting shadows parts of the paper are occluded of the beam. Other parts are fully exposed to the light. Developing the photographic paper in a conventional chemical process creates a colorful memory of the folding.
